Aw jeez 270

Thought you would like to know I'm doing the couch to 5k program, and eating right. No fad diet or anything, just a common sense approach I guess. I'll use this as the official start point. I won't bungle up the tabernacle with this stuff Nate, I promise. I wonder how much weight I will have lost when I can see my pee-maker again without assistance? Taking bets.

  1. Whens the 5k?
At least you're taking the first step finally. Just stick to your guns and have some will. I didn't lose much weight, but it was amazing how out of shape I was. 10 days of walking only in Italy did wonders. Just stick with it. You should set goals, if you have, what are they?

  2. Doing to do the first one available in December, while starting 10k training. That's 10 kilometers, not ninjas.

My goal? to not need the mask to sleep, to not be in pain. The number will come on its own.

  3. like AA, the first step is knowing you have a thing to fix. I know you have lots of hills down there and lots of Jacob time, and walking really is nice. Couch to 5K is not a bad program, and if you wanted more motivation you can download some podcasts/exercise music programs that have a person talking to you while you hear music. Not annoying ones though. Also, if you are serious, you will need some nice running shoes to help you and if possible, you should get the Nike iPod+ system which tracks you while you do walks/runs. If you wanted to walk a 5k, you set it to 5k and a little voice tells you "halfway point" or "1k completed" and so on. I am not a mall walker, but walking and being outside is awesome. I am proud of you for starting it up man! Keep it up. You have nice weather down there 11.5 months out of the year so you should be good! :)

  4. Oh I've known I have had something to fix, it just went past the vanity point and into physical pain now. I use an app on my I phone so I can listen to my own music while I run and then a voice tells me to warm up/run/walk/cool down. where do I find the pod casts?
