Racking up the miles as a daily driver

Happy birthday to the mayor!

It's the mayor's birthday, and I didn't want to let him down...

So first I looked up goatse.

That was too blasé.

Then I looked up Asian woman goatse and saw this:

Surprisingly safe for work, eh?

I don't get it

Let me start off my admitting that right now I'm in the drivers seat in a mini-van, so my credibility may take a hit here.

What's with handlebar tassels? Growing up I always thought that tassels on bikes were for girls. Mostly due to only seeing them on girls bikes.

This is the third bike I have seen lately with them.

Dunno if this is a dudes bike, but the other two bikes were ridden by dudes. Dudes in khaki shorts no less.

P.s. I'm not driving, I'm waiting safely in a parking spot.

Edit: a little bird tells me it's a dude named John that owns the tassels.

Bad marketing

So the bold letters say "Father's day sale"

Below it says "Any man can be a father but it takes someone special to be a dad."

Why not call your sale "dad's day", or change the unattributed quote to match your sale?

It's just a mediocre male parental figure sale as its marketed now.

Still looking at the deals though.

I'll ignore my kids while I browse just to make sure I qualify for the sale.

I thought you would get a kick out of this ad. 

The man behind the name...

Dick Hammer was a leading AMA Grand National racer during the 1960s who specialized in TT racing. His biggest victory came at the Peoria, Illinois, TT in 1962. Hammer also earned notable victories in the Daytona International Lightweight race (predecessor to the modern-day AMA 250 Grand Prix class) aboard Harley-Davidson's. Hammer won the first ever Lightweight event at Daytona in 1963. He came back to defend his win in 1964 and was runner-up to Gary Nixon in 1967.

Wheels Through Time

A big highlight of the trip! RMFH saw we were right by Wheels Through Time, we decided to make it the Saturday destination. Cool place, I recommend a visit. A lot of 2 wheel history & they even fire up a few of the bikes as you walk around.

I took a lot more pictures than this, but if I posted 'em all, what would be the point in going in person?
